Chris does offer other contracts that my be more suitable for you. We can reduce the relationship from fiduciary seller's agent to transactional relationship. If you choose the contract layed out above, under Florida law, as a fiduciary agent, Chris can advise you with professional opinion, on the complexities of home selling. If you choose a transactional relationship, Chris can treat you as his customer (rather than his client) and he may provide you with routine factual information (rather than advice). This is the only type of contract that many firms offer because it significantly reduces their exposure to law suits.
We can reduce the level of service provided, leaving some or many of the service functions up to you to do yourself. You may hold your own open houses for example, and if you find a buyer from this, then you would not have to pay that portion of the commission reserved for the co-broker who procures a buyer. Chris can discuss with you, other types of seller contracts that you may find to your liking.
The commission cost paid by you as seller to Premiere Plus Realty is not a standard or fixed amount. Under Federal law it is strictly illegal to do this. That is price fixing.
